Entity perspectives are not updated when a perspective name is changed

Currently, when I update a perspective name, entity perspectives are not updated automatically.
I have to reconfigure them manually.

For example, if I rename a perspective from salesorders to salesordersnew, I have to open all entities which were placed in salesorders and change the perspective dropdown to salesordersnew.
Will be much easier if this happens automatically.
