When trying to build modern Eclipse, Tycho fails with:

You requested to install 'org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; org.hamcrest.core [1.1.0,2.0.0)' but it could not be found

This seems similar to #1164 but that does not help to solve the problem.
Where do I get Hamcrest packaged as Eclipse plugin?

I did not want to reference old Eclipse releases in the build, so I've tried wrapping it in target definition to no avail:

How do I build modern Eclipse platform?

@basilevs can you share an example project? Are you using the latest Tycho version (4+) and a suitable target platform?
