Is there best practice for release builds and versioning?

We are using a pomless tycho build in version 4.0.1

build is producing multi-platform products, features and bundles (features and bundles are using qualifiers in versions).
Product archives, p2-sites and maven repo are created and deployed.
Everything is working smoothly for SNAPSHOT builds.

My questions targets if there is a best-practice or documentation of

• how to create a release build without SNAPSHOT versions
  • upload products, p2-sites and all bundles as maven repo artifacts
• how to increment the feature/bundles versions?
  and continue to develop the next version.
