Attempted different versions of node and npm. Same issue.

Did you follow exactly the same steps from start to finish in https://github.com/eckmarcommunity/eckmar/blob/master/INSTALLATION.md? It has to be on Ubuntu by the way, as in the tutorial. Please try the steps from the tutorial again to confirm the problem is in the tutorial itself otherwise most likely you did something wrong.

Thanks for replying, yes I used Ubuntu 20.04 on a linode machine for testing purposes. I ran through the steps 3-4 times each time starting with a fresh image install. Same issue each time. Everything went fine apart from npm install then obviously npm run prod wouldn't work either.

Really no idea what might be the issue. I have a feeling someone had this issue before. Please scroll through the resolved issues in this repository, you might find an answer.
