Have a look at https://github.com/ebroecker/canmatrix/releases/tag/1.0 this release was released in 2022 according to github. Which is incorrect. It was released july 2023 according to pypi.
My guess is the 0.9.5 release was renamed to 1.0 on github instead of a new release created.

Almost. Seems you now deleted the 0.9.5 release docs on github. But 1.0 seem to point to correct commit now.
Yes - the 0.9.5 was wired. So I deleted it.
