I merged a PR and thought that the silence from ebmbot was because it was broken. I then happened to spot in the Slack history that deploys were suppressed.

It would be nice to get a message in technoise saying something like:

PR merged, not deploying because deploys suppressed until X
In an emergency, use op cancel suppression followed by op deploy to force a deployment

I still think this would be a nice-to-have in the new system
