Version appears to be: dropbox-lnx.x86_64-174.3.5762
Brand new Ubuntu 23.04 install.
Dropbox installs and starts syncing when opened from installed apps, but no menu is available when I right click the tray icon.
Workaround:
This does work after Gnome is restarted according to http://disq.us/p/2twv5ht, which is to lock the screen and unlock it.
There only appears to be one process .dropbox-dist/dropbox-lnx.x86_64-174.3.5762/dropbox, so I guess it gets some state nudged when I lock and unlock.

No tray icon in Fedora 38, can't get it to work at all.
Sorry, something went wrong.
Same problem here. Same fix. After the KDE is booted, lock Gnome, then unlock. Then the tray icon works.
Same here with Ubuntu 23.04, Locking and unlocking the screen makes the tray icon work.
