Social Ipsum

Generate random social text for your mockups in Adobe XD.

Installation

Download the latest release, open the .xdx file with Adobe XD.

You'll see a plugin installation modal.

Build Instructions

Clone the git repo (or unzip the released zip file) into your Adobe XD Plugin Development folder.

You can find that folder by going to Plugins > Development > Show Develop Folder in the Adobe XD menu.

Beyond that, there's nothing else you have to do. It's all written in vanilla JavaScript and has no library dependencies.

Data Licensing

This plugin includes several databases for generating texts.

• Word Frequencies in Written and Spoken English: based on the British National Corpus, Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.0 UK: England & Wales License
• Social Security Baby Name Database, Public Domain
• 2010 Census Surname Database, Public Domain
