The following is an HTML sample content. It displays correctly in a WebView on Windows but appears as garbled text on iOS. |

Title: Displaying HTML Content from EPUB Parsing Results in WebView Shows Garbled Characters on iOS
Description:
I'm currently developing a mobile application using MAUI, where I utilize a WebView control to display HTML documents. These HTML documents are derived from parsing EPUB content. My approach involves parsing the EPUB files into HTML and images, saving them to the iOS sandbox data folder. Then, employing the MVVM pattern, I bind the HTML path to the WebView's source property to display the e-book.
The issue I'm encountering is that while this method works perfectly on Windows, displaying the HTML content correctly, it shows garbled characters when deployed on iOS devices.
XAML Code:
C# Code:
Could someone please provide guidance on resolving this issue? It seems to be related to character encoding or WebView rendering on iOS devices. Thank you!
