Following this Xamarin Tutorial I have been able to set up and run C/C++ code compiled into shared libraries for iOS and Android. This also works fine in MAUI after porting.
However, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in actually debugging the code being run inside these PInvoked libraries. If so, I would love to hear about your experience. After enabling mixed mode debugging and turning off "Just my code" (I am currently running the MAUI solution in VS), trying to step into any PInvoke method stubs results in it simply stepping over, which I would assume since I imagine it would take more effort or even some separate debugging engine running simultaneously.
