because of a bug introduced to dotenv here: motdotla/dotenv#805, dotenvx@0.16.0's encrypt method did not work correctly. it additionally included your regular keys to your .env.vault file. this is fixed in 0.17.0 and was isolated only to 0.16.0. please upgrade.
