Omitting some properties on-the-fly

I'm using both OPFS and IndexedDB at the same time. My application uses the database only for persisting file metadata and OPFS for blob storage. I was wondering if it is possible to omit File objects being sent to IndexedDB in the first place? Like mutating them to undefined?

I coudl wrap every call to remove that key but having it defined inside a Dexie class would be fantastic.
