How to make the report fail if a certain rule is detected?

Hi, I'm adding detekt to a project and can't figure out how to make the analysis fail if it finds rules with severity "error". In the past I believe there was something called "FailFast" which I believe did what I want, but now it's removed.

On detekt every detection in a rule is considered an error. There are no differences between severities.

And about fail fast. It is nearly the same as enable all the rules.

So it's not possible to not treat everything as an error? I would like to make the CI fail only when the severity is actually of type "error"

No, it is not possible. You could do workarounds. For example you could have two different configuration files. One that allows any number of issues with all the rules you want to run. And other with the ones that have severity error for you and don't allow any of those.

But out of the box there are no way to archive that right now.

Oh, well that workaround doesn't sound that bad. At least I'll have a clear separation between the warnings. Thanks!
