What you expected to see, versus what you actually saw

I have developed a github action and for updates to it I have used the git tags (versioning) was as follows:
v1.1
v2.1
v2.5

I decided to move to full semantic versioning and now Dependabot no longer sees the new updates.
new versioning starts at v2.6.1.

so my versioning is:
v1.1
v2.1
v2.5 <- dependabot says this is the latest version
v2.6.1
