User Story or Problem Statement

In response to prod CMS going offline on 5/8/2024, due to a module being installed, the CMS team is going to change the permissions structure for CMS and Jenkins to ensure that a permission issues does not cause prod to go offline again.

Steps for Implementation

  • Have CMS become the owner and Jenkins a user in the group
  • Run commands manually on testing
  • Alter scripts for tests deployment
  • Alter scripts for staging and production deployment

Acceptance Criteria

  • The permission structure is updated to have CMS become the owner.
  • A new module is added without causing the deployment process to break and CMS prod to go offline.
