I love the idea of using a more powerful editor along with ActiveStorage. One advantage respect to the implementation in the Awesome Module is that the attachment are transparently linked to the original model entry (for instance, in Awesome and image is not removed from the server once uploaded, this is a compromise because disc space is cheap). This feature could be ported to core, however we would need @decidim/product to provide some guidelines here. In my module I do thinks that I like, which I'm not sure should be done the same way:
About the multiple databases: I think we tend to think in terms of technical improvements, however, forcing the use of different databases for every tenant also has an important drawback in terms of equal opportunities. They way it works now, you have tenants for free with one installation, by using several databases, in many cases (all cloud providers I know at least) you will be forced to pay the fee for every additional server you'll need for each tenant. This will potentially multiply costs a lot for many projects. I certainly do not desire that as would force me to renounce to use managed databases. |

Moved this to a Github Discussion so it could be better tracked and wouldn't go stale. |

Sooner or later we'll need to upgrade to Rails 6. I'm opening this issue so we can have in the same place all the references and information that's necessary or nice to have when this moment arrives :)
