This will fail since my input x has multiple chunks on the core dimension. At the same time, I cannot use map_blocks since it doesn't seem to support multiple outputs (#72). So together this makes dask unable to handle a case that seems pretty common.

I came across a case where I want to apply a function blockwise to an array, and the function has multiple output. Consider the following example:
This will fail since my input
x
has multiple chunks on the core dimension. At the same time, I cannot usemap_blocks
since it doesn't seem to support multiple outputs (#72). So together this makes dask unable to handle a case that seems pretty common.I'm wondering if I'm missing anything apparent?
