Setup iTerm2

Download and install the latest stable of iTerm2: https://iterm2.com/downloads.html

Open iTerm2 and select the iTerm2>Make iTerm2 Default Term menu item

Shell Integration

Select the iTerm2>Install Shell Integration menu item
- Keep Also install iTerm2 Utilities checked & select continue
- Select Download and Run Installer
- Double check the command and click continue

Default Profile Modifications

Open the Default profile by:

Opening a new terminal window
Open the preferences (hotkey: ⌘,.
Select the Profiles tab.
Select the Default profile

Make the following modifications:

Session tab:
- Set Show timestamps to Always
Terminal tab:
- Notifications section:
  - check Silence bell
