A problem I've seen with contributors is picking meaningful scopes. If committed could help show people what scopes are commonly used, it'd be a big help.

My thought is to have a --scopes which will print out the scopes for the given commit range.

Possibly, we'd collect the list, sort by number of uses, and annotate the line with how many uses there were.
