2FA : Add mobile app (ex: Authy, Google Auth, etc...) & physical keys (Yubikey, Google Titan, etc...) support #2530

2FA by email is a simple solution but has a big caveat: if someone hacks your email he will be able to access everything.
2FA by SMS is not better (SIM Swap) even if mobile operators tend to reduce the risks lately.

It would be nice to have the possibility to use a mobile app or a physical key for this purpose.

Hello, yes, we would want to add 2FA via a mobile app. Our bandwidth for new features is limited, which explains why it has not yet been done, but it is definitively on our roadmap.
