Preparatory work for Gaia with SDK v0.50

Problem

Gaia v15 will upgrade SDK to v0.47. The latest version of SDK is v0.50. To avoid running the Hub on EOL dependencies, we need to start looking into the v0.50 upgrade.

Closing criteria

A decision is taken on whether Gaia is upgraded to SDK 0.50 or we skip directly to 0.51.
