How many times validator can be jailed?

Hi all,
Is there a limit to jailing a validator due to being offline for too long?
In the case of an evil validator, does he can to be jailed - be unjailed - be jailed .... and so on on purpose and burn my staking money in this way?
Is there a max number for a validator to be slashed?

I don't think there is a limit on jailing of a validator, but every time it got jailed there will be a slashing in stakes.

that slashes all the delegations to a percentage (including his self delegations). If anybody willingly doing that, you can always redelegate your delegations to other validators.
