I was running kubernetes version 1.22 using containerd version 1.4.12. (Ubuntu 21.10)
I created and used a Scala Web App on it, and it worked fine.
However, when I updated to containerd version 1.6.21 and deployed the same app on kubernetes version 1.26, I got an error.
I am using the Elastic Search library in Scala.
When I call it, I get the following error
Could not initialize class jp.co.bizreach.elasticsearch4s.JsonUtils$
I've also checked the war file, which clearly includes that library.
I really don't know why there is a difference between the two environments.
This is so hard.
I'm raising a related question on the containerd side as well, in the hope that they can find the root of the problem.
Do you have any suggestions on how to analyze it?
