Test out the deploy methods we have in the docs https://docs.commercetools.com/custom-applications/deployment-examples , https://docs.commercetools.com/custom-applications/legacy/deployment/example-deployment-firebase

@praveenkumarct We may want to try these deploys ^ manually

@praveenkumarct A user deployed static bundles to s3/ Cloudfront and reported looping. Is this a known deployment issue?

Hi @praveenkumarct, were you able to run on AWS S3/Cloudfront without seeing the loop?

Sounds like step 1 is to try updating some dependencies that Nicola mentioned. @praveenkumarct Do you have a list of updates that Nicola mentioned to try? Any luck from running any dependency updates?

@nspeet I have updated the dependencies. But there are some changes and new documentation is provided, and the build is failing in our application (bundles-starter).

I am checking documentation and trying to fix the deployment. Will keep you updated.

@praveenkumarct Thank you for looking into this.

@nspeet I don't have any good news yet. But seems like this issue is nothing to do with our code. The error and loops are because of AWS configuration of S3 and cloudfront deployment.

I checked also with one simple react application. Its the similar type of issues I have faced, related to Urls or http and https conflicts.

Do you know If user was already using it in AWS S3 and suddenly it started failing now? Or this is the first time even they are trying in S3 bucket?

First time they have tried. Can you reach out to Nicola on this type of deployment? Do we need to open this defect against the MC team or can they help setup this s3 / cloudfront deployment?

Yes @nspeet. We will open a defect against the MC team. Looks like we don't have any issue in our application. This is related only with the deployment.
