Due to bugs building #369 (comment) we had to update to a canary version of next.js but that's not good to stay on. Once the final 12.0.11 is released we should switch to that one

fixed by 7e66cd7

also removed the babel config (and moved some config to next config) so now we use the faster swc compiler
