Hi all,
I'm trying to build a docker image of my custom version of the cloud carbon footprint application in order to deploy it in Azure.
As I'm quite new to those technologies, I'm having a hard time doing it.
It tried to follow as much as possible the information on your documentation so I did the folling steps :
At this point, I can run it locally by running "yarn start-api" and "yarn start-client", it works well.
For the contenerisation, I did the following :
The docker-compose script seems to be working fine, it builds the 2 images (api + client), then starts the container as expected. Once I try to access localhost:80:80 on my laptop, I get the following error :
"cloud-carbon-footprint-client-1 | 2023/06/21 15:47:01 [error] 30#30: *1 upstream timed out (110: Operation timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: 172.22.0.1, server: , request: "GET /api/footprint?start=2022-06-21&end=2023-06-21&ignoreCache=false&groupBy=day&limit=50000&skip=0 HTTP/1.1", upstream: "http://172.22.0.2:4000/api/footprint?start=2022-06-21&end=2023-06-21&ignoreCache=false&groupBy=day&limit=50000&skip=0", host: "localhost", referrer: "http://localhost/"
My client/.env file is set to only consider data from the previous two months (using REACT_APP_DATE_RANGE_VALUE=2
REACT_APP_DATE_RANGE_TYPE=months), so I don't understand why the app wants to query the data for a full year.
Am I missing something on the contenerisation steps ?
I would really appreciate some feedbacks or "how to" if one of you already managed to create a container for a local version of the app.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this, and looking forward to hearing back from you.
