It looks like major browsers now support native CSS nesting (Firefox under a flag, but should enable it by default in v117). Will clean-css be update to support it, as well?

Firefox 117 is not in public release, though, but it should become public by the end of August.

public?
on ubuntu, I can get the developer edition, which is 117:

sudo snap install firefox --edge

🤷 anywho, would be good for clean-css to support this!

For now, I'm pre-processing my css with postcss-nesting before handing my css off to clean-css

I filed clean-css/clean-css-cli#94 but realised it was probably in the wrong repo and found this issue: it would be great if this tool supported nested CSS, as it was already part of the official spec, and has been supported by every in-support browser for a few months now =)
