I'd like to have an easier way to override colors for the existing color palette.
Justification
Someone who is using the carbon design system and wants to customize the theme can't easily change default colors for charts.
Desired UX and success metrics
UX of users seeing the customized theme will be enhanced by also having charts in colors that fit to the theme.
"Must have" functionality
No functionality involved.
Specific timeline issues / requests
As soon as possible, but no rush :)
Available extra resources
Based on my investigations, the easiest way to achieve this would be to add !default to the $white-theme-colors and $dark-theme-colors variables in _color-palette.scss to allow engineers to override them.
What priority level would this issue be in your opinion?
