Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

  • The "results" look decent on the website, but many teams probably need to get them into Word to collaborate with "comments" and "Track Changes".

Describe the solution you'd like

  • Offer "Save as Word Document"
  • Offer "Save as Markdown" would be neat for more technical users but won't get used as much as "Save as Word"
  • Alternatively, post a recommended workflow for getting the results into Word.

Describe alternatives you've considered
The approaches I've tried have been not great.

  • Copy-paste website into Word doesn't render well, especially the tables
  • Save results as pdf -> copy-paste into Word also doesn't render well, tables completely dropped

Some people have been using the PDF to comments on completed AIAs. Many PDF clients include functions to add comments to documents. Of course, the JSON can also be shared to be used in the tool. But I agree that neither has simple track changes if people want to edit narratives instead of only commenting on them.

Hi @MichaelMBishop, importing the PDF in Word works well, and the resulting document is very usable. In Word, select File>Open, and pick the PDF file. Word will automatically convert it into a Word document that looks almost identical to the PDF (much better than copy-paste!)

Good tips. Now that I've accepted a new workflow, this issue seems less pressing to me.
