One thing worth mentioning is that I generally skip over internal Cranelift-related things for the release notes here but there's a ton going on in Cranelift, so it might be prudent to start having Cranelift-specific release notes if someone's feeling up for it. |

I've just reviewed the Cranelift changes since the v.2.0.0 tag and they don't strike me as interesting from the perspective of someone using Wasmtime. The one thing that might be nice to get in the release notes is an overall compile-time benchmark comparing the two releases, which summarizes the interesting part of most of these Cranelift changes.
