AWS S3 presigned URL with metadata

Does Metadata parameter is supported?
I am getting the following error :

Bucket, IfMatch, IfModifiedSince, IfNoneMatch, IfUnmodifiedSince, Key, Range, ResponseCacheControl, ResponseContentDisposition, ResponseContentEncoding, ResponseContentLanguage, ResponseContentType, ResponseExpires, VersionId, SSECustomerAlgorithm, SSECustomerKey, SSECustomerKeyMD5, RequestPayer, PartNumber, ExpectedBucketOwner, ChecksumMode

Hi @yanivpaz, thanks for reaching out.
If you’re using create_presigned_post method to generate presigned URL, metadata can be added to the Fields params while generating one. I’d recommend to review this Presigned URLs doc and this 'Working with object metadata' guide for references.

Please let me know if it resolves your issue. If you’re still having issue, please share your code snippet (with any sensitive information redacted) or debug logs by adding boto3.set_stream_logger('') to your code.

create_presigned_url can be used to download S3 object and perform GET request as mentioned in this doc with code example.
If you need further assistance, we could look at your debug logs and find a method that works for your use case. Please let me know.

Thanks @aBurmeseDev but if I will use create_presigned_url I will not be able to add metadata / use my own query strings in the generated presigned URL , right ?

@yanivpaz, Sorry for the delay. Were you able to resolve this issue? To my understanding, create_presigned_post can be used with metadata inside Fields params. Unfortunately, it's only designed to use for POST requests/uploads only. For GET/PUT requests, you can use create_presigned_url but won't be able to add metadata. Hope that makes sense.
