Problem Description
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the backend and frontend architecture for the TFRS (The Fancy React System) project, we want to explore the most up-to-date and modern architecture solutions for Python backends, with an emphasis on FastAPI. Additionally, we will investigate Postgres as a database solution and React as a frontend library. To complement these technologies, we aim to identify other modern tools that can enhance our application.

Solution Needs

  • Research the latest trends and best practices in Python backend development, focusing on FastAPI as a potential candidate.
  • Explore the benefits of using Postgres as the database solution for the project.
  • Investigate React as the frontend library, and evaluate its compatibility with the backend.
  • Identify and assess other modern tools and technologies that can complement our chosen backend and frontend stack.

Timebox

  • 5 points

Outcome

  • A summary report detailing the findings on the most up-to-date and modern architecture for Python backends, with a focus on FastAPI.
  • A list of additional modern tools and technologies, including descriptions, benefits, and potential use cases for the TFRS project.
  • A recommendation for the overall architecture, considering backend, frontend, and complementary tools.
