Is async s3 stream body supposed to be nullable, while sync stream is not?

Looking at the documentation for:

https://sdk.amazonaws.com/java/api/latest/software/amazon/awssdk/core/sync/RequestBody.html#fromInputStream(java.io.InputStream,long)

https://sdk.amazonaws.com/java/api/latest/software/amazon/awssdk/core/async/AsyncRequestBody.html#forBlockingInputStream(java.lang.Long)

I see that for async we have Long and it can be nullable whereas for sync is not long and not nullable. Is this intended functionality?
