Can i replace ConditionTimeoutException with Assertion error? #266

Hello, i write tests using awaitiity lib and allure lib. Can i modify ConditionTimeoutException into AssertionError (junit lib) without using try-catch block? Was trying to use Listener interface but seems it doesn't regulate this point
