Description

With the addition of match counts for parts of a record returned in search results, we should look at how the search relevance and weights are currently configured.

  • What is the right amount of weight for title matches vs. content matches (descriptive metadata, transcript text)?
  • What is the current Avalon strategy in Solr? What are the weights configured as?
