This Feature Request affects these Traffic Control components:

  • Traffic Control Cache Config (t3c, formerly ORT)
  • Traffic Ops
  • Traffic Router
  • Documentation

Description

Traffic Control currently supports Geo "restrictions" in Traffic Router, where it will not route the client if it is not from a certain country. Currently, only US and Canada are implemented, and, this "restriction" is just the routing; it is trivial for a user to work around this restriction. This feature would use the ATS Geo plugin to implement real geo restrictions.
