Hi, Hoping a kind soul can give me some guidance...
I'm trying to add angular-eslint (obv) to a fresh version of angular 13
I've read the read-me, a number of tutorials, articles and issues... and they all seem to be either
A. run this one line instal command and you're off to the races. with no more detail or discussion of configuration
B. You're migrating from TS lint so you need to jump through all these hoops (migration assistant recommended)
oh and C your version is too old can't do it
But I'm on Ng 13, fresh, no previous linter of any kind.
Generated with the cli (npm & scss)
Single app, no monorepo
I've added 4 basic components and a data service
Not that they should differ but I've tried both
ng add @angular-eslint/schematics
npm i @angular-eslint/schematics
after both running linter resulted in "Schema validation failed with the following errors: Data path "" must have required property 'lintFilePatterns'."
as per one suggestion I've manually added the following options to linter in angular.json
"lint": {
"builder": "@angular-eslint/builder:lint",
"options": {
"lintFilePatterns": [
"src//*.ts",
"src//*.html"
]
}
},
Now
npm run lint
runs, but always returns "All files pass linting."I've never had a linter not recommend something but to be sure i wrote some garbage in one of the components, the in the app.
Is my mistake obv to anyone?
Have i found a bug?
Can you point me to discussion of similar issue, or
Can you recommend something to read further on configuration - but not for tslint migration or monorepos
Thanks for your time
