On mobile devices there are two ways for screen reader users to navigate -- by swiping or by moving the finger around on the screen to locate and speak content. When viewing an AMP page on iOS Safari with VoiceOver activated the user is not able to use the explore by touch feature to focus and speak content. The user must rely on the swipe feature to swipe through content. This makes navigation by people who use speech but have some vision difficult and also prevents users from using three finger swipe gestures to swipe through pages of information to more quickly get to what they want.

Users should be able to move their finger around on the screen and focus and hear the content under that location and use scroll gestures to quickly scroll through pages of content.
