the way I tracked down the last one was to run it under rr record, then in rr I set a breakpoint the SystemError code, waited to hit it, set a watchpoint on Python's internal exception state field, and ran the program backwards to see where the exception got set

@altendky IIRC the trickiest part was figuring out how to set the watchpoint, but unfortunately I don't seem to have any notes on how I did it :-/
