We noticed that we use different icons in the following UI elements:

  • Menu bar
  • Homepage topics, and L1 topic pages (this one is thicker than the one used in the menu bar)
  • Filter search (this one has rounded ends)
    Here's a screenshot:
    chevrons
    The filter and topics chevrons are both GOV.‌UK components rather than Design System ones – I think we could easily use the icon from the Design System on all instances to be consistent. @mia-allers-gds @nnagewad @gracie-hawk What do you think?

@monicacrusellasfanlo I think we should use the same icon across everything, but if the icon from the design system is the one used in the dropdowns I would prefer we use something else. I don't think they are very refined.
