I don't know if this is the right place to ask. For some languages (PHP or bash), the $ character marks the beginning of a variable. $variableName. When double clicking such a variable, the $ character is not selected. This increases the risk of errors and adds some more clicks to the process.
Is it possible to have those leading $ in the selection? This is the default behaviour of other editors, e.g. netbeans. I walked through the documentation but could not find any configuration to enable that behaviour in ace.
Best regards
Stephan

Thank you for the request. AFAIK there is no option for this. Editors handle $ sign differently, so I'm not sure it makes sense to change the default behaviour, but at least an option would be nice indeed.
