aiohttp application with gunicorn server inside docker container in orchestrator

Hi! Does it make sense to use gunicorn to run and scale an aiohttp application inside a docker container if I use kubernetes/docker swarm/anything else?
Do I understand correctly that gunicorn is an additional level of abstraction that does not benefit, since modern orchestrators are able to do similar work?
