Writing text using ObjectTextRender only having OamManaged OR A better approach to writing text in general

Hello, I'm pretty new to both Rust and agb, so please forgive my ignorance.

I'm trying to figure out how to make a simple score readout for my game. My attempt at this involves using an ObjectTextRender as it had the most documentation and seemed fairly straightforward. I had everything implemented up until I needed to pass a &mut OamUnmanaged.iter() into ObjectTextRender.commit(). The borrow checker disallowed me from doing this because I already borrowed &mut gba earlier in the function when getting the OamManaged for all of my other sprites, so I can not also get the OamUnmanaged. Here's a stripped down version of my main function:

    //Get oam, etc...
    let oam = gba.display.object.get_managed();
    let (mut unmanaged, _) = gba.display.object.get_unmanaged(); //Compiler error for second mut borrow here

    //Setup removed, the below line uses some variables that are omitted from this shortened version of the code.
    let text_renderer = ObjectTextRender::new(&FONT, Size::S16x16, palette);

    // May uses of `oam` ...
    
    //Core Loop

        //Process data...
        text_renderer.write_str(&new_score.to_string(), &mut unmanaged.iter())

I'm wondering if it's viable to use both the Managed and Unmanaged OAMs in the same code so I can use the Unmanaged with the ObjectTextRender. If there is a better way to write text that I am missing, please let me know. Any guidance appreciated. TIA!

ManagedOam provides an ordered list abstraction over UnmanagedOam. I have a branch with this abstraction pulled out in #537. This will let you use UnmanagedOam with the sorted object list, although at that point you could manage it yourself too.
