aafigure does not work with latest sphinx

It seems like the sphinx extension of aafigure does not work with latest sphinx. (Tested with sphinx 6.1.2). It works on sphinx 6.1.1 It tries to copy the source folder instead of the generated file it:

sphinx.errors.SphinxWarning: cannot copy image file 'C:\\path-to-project\\docs2\\src\\.': [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'C:\\path-to-project\\docs2\\src\\.'

This small rst example will trigger this error:

  x

Given the research done in the sphinx ticket I think its clear its a sphinx issue and not a problem in aafigure. Sphinx has now reverted the changes, so I will close the issue here.
