Please give us a description of what happened.

Go to Dashboard > SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Listings
Add custom field keys > Save >
Return to Dashboard
Return to SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Listings
No data saved in field
Yoast not able to review custom fields in individual listings

I tried deactivating all plugins except for Yoast SEO, Yoast Premium, Elementor and WooCommerce.

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.

I expected the field keys I entered in SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Listings
Add custom field keys > Save >
To save in between sessions, and in between going to another area of the Dashboard and back to SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Listings again

I would like Yoast/Yoast Premium/Yoast-ACF-Analysis to be able to recognize and review my custom fields on individual listing posts.

How can we reproduce this behavior?

  1. Go to Dashboard > SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Listings
Add custom field keys > Save >
  2. Return to Dashboard
  3. Return to SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Listings

Technical info

  • WordPress version: 5.8 (by the way it IS working on another staging site I have and that is version 5.7.2)
  • ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO version: 3.0.1 (both)
  • Yoast SEO version: 16.7 (works on 15.0)
  • ACF type:
  • ACF version: 3.0.1
  • Relevant plugins in case of a bug: Deactivated all except ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO, Elementor, WooCommerce and Yoast SEO, Yoast SEO Premium (normally same plugins on both staging sites - one works, one doesn't)
