  • I've read and understood the contribution guidelines.
  • I've searched for any related issues and avoided creating a duplicate issue.

Please give us a description of what happened

Changing the permalink of a post in Classic Editor and then editing and publishing with Elementor does not take the new permalink into consideration. This doesn't happen when Yoast SEO is deactivated.

To Reproduce

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. Create a post in Classic Editor, then save the draft. Take note of the permalink e.g /newpost/
  2. Edit the permalink to something different (e.g /newpermalink/), then save the draft
  3. Edit the post with Elementor and publish it

Expected results

  1. The published post should have permalink - /newpermalink/

Actual results

  1. The published post retains the first permalink - /newpost/

Screenshots, screen recording, code snippet

If possible, please provide a screenshot, a screen recording or a code snippet which demonstrates the bug.
