Mark templates that are used for key pages

It's often the case that a generic template (e.g. page or index) is the one responsible for displaying the site front page. In these scenarios it might be helpful to indicate the relevant template in the templates list.

Let's close 36348 as that was for the old wp-admin-style templates list.

Wouldn't this just be adjusting the template description?

For most templates yes thats probably adequate. But in the case of a static homepage there are many templates that might display it – index, page, $custom.

I'll update the issue.
