馃摪 Custom Issue

It would be great to have a DOI for iris-esmf-regrid.

After offline discussions with @stephenworsley, we've decided to go ahead with this 馃コ

We've already enabled zenodo for iris-esmf-regrid and once we tag the next release (0.10.0) we can then complete these follow-up actions before closing this issue:

  • Register and enable zenodo for iris-esmf-regrid
  • Tag release 0.10.0
    • Ensure this tag works when moving the repo to Scitools
  • Check zenodo has auto-uploaded and generated the DOI
  • Add zenodo badge to the README.md referencing the DOI that cites all versions (not just the current release tag)
  • Add the above zenodo version to the CITATION.cff file e.g.,
    • doi: "10.5281/zenodo.7608302" (this is an example, do not use this entry)
