You can use the DNS search domain to resolve your alfis domains via the clearnet (e.g. 8.8.8.8). For example, if yggdrasil.link is specified as the search domain, when querying howto.ygg, the query will go through howto.ygg.yggdrasil.link, which will return a AAAA record from howto.ygg when it reaches the yggdrasil.link NS server.

Definitely needs to be done somehow! :)
But it is better to use alfis.name, isn't it?

Nice idea! IMO it should be similar to eth.link and hns.to
