I'm planning to do another release with 3.11 syntax support in the three related projects (pyflakes, pycodestyle, and flake8)

this issue is to track that!

I believe this is ready to go, I've done validation against the top 100ish pypi packages and found no differences

I'm considering including #684 which would remove support for # type: ... comments (as these are only necessary in python<3.6) -- surveying the top 500 pypi packages about ~20% of them still use type comment syntax (though that's likely because they are still supporting python 2) -- will need some sort of decision there.
